GCAA will be first NJCAA region to broadcast in HD

JockJive Goes HD with the GCAA

JockJive.com announces that it will debut its HD production capabilities at this weekend's Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association DIII Men's and Women's Basketball State Championship events in Warner Robins. Last year, GCAA Commissioner David Elder and JockJive's Robert Williamson reached agreement to broadcast DI Basketball, Softball and Baseball online. The collaboration met with such success, DI Soccer and DIII Basketball has been added to this year's slate. Williamson thanked Elder and the GCAA for not only working to expand coverage and interest in Georgia Community College Athletics, but for opening the door to coverage of a number of additional events. JockJive is now handling productions of NJCAA National Championships, the Gulf South Conference and the Southwestern Athletic Conference in the NCAA, due, in part, to the partnership formed with the GCAA.

Williamson explained the logic in debuting the new High Definition coverage with the GCAA stating, "Dave and the GCAA took a chance on JockJive giving other entities an opportunity to view our work, so what better place to showcase this step forward in quality." The GCAA is setting the standard by being the first NJCAA region to broadcast in HD. Catch the HD action live starting with Saturday's Mens and Womens Semi-finals from Middle Georgia Tech.
