CGTC Titans win hard fought battle over GPC

Macon, GA-  The CGTC Titans pull off a hard fought victory over Conference rival GA Perimeter College.  The Jaguars led most of the first half, but a surge by the Titans and CGTC led 43-42 at the half way point.  

The second half was a back and forth affair, with GPC fouling, and CGTC missing free throws, the Titans hung on to an 85 - 77 victory over the Jaguars.  The Jaguars were led by former middle GA standout Quintavias Virgil 11 points (Central High) and 23 points by Shane Henry.  The Titans had a well balanced attack with four in double digits (Brentine Taylor-27 points, Cameron Baker-21 points, LaJuan Clarington-13 points, & Tobiasz Hose-12 points).  

The CGTC Titans improve to 9-3 (2-2) on the season "It was a total team team effort. Our guys fought hard and showed toughness." said coach Reco Dawson. The Titans will be back on the road at South Georgia on December 17th.
