CGTC Men’s Basketball Players Volunteer at Iron Men’s Health Fair

Macon- Student-athletes from the Central Georgia Technical College men's basketball team volunteered with the third annual Iron Men's Health Fair Saturday, September 20 in Macon at the Promise Center. The purpose of the health fair is to promote prostate cancer awareness.

The health fair consisted of free screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, and vision, as well as guest panelists who discussed various topics such as nutrition wellness, prostate cancer, and cardiovascular health. A one mile fun walk/run and 3-on-3 basketball tournament was held for participants at the health fair.
